Use AI coding assistants and test generation tools daily
to write, refactor, and extend test suites faster than you could manually
Analyse requirements and derive test strategies covering functional, API, integration, and non-functional scenarios
Build and maintain REST API tests (Rest Assured, JGiven) and integration tests (Testcontainers) against real Spring Boot services
Design and execute performance and load tests; define SLA thresholds, flag regressions, and report findings clearly to engineering
Contribute to quality gates in Jenkins pipelines and ArgoCD deployment workflows
Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards for test code quality
Work closely with developers and DevOps to align testing with Kubernetes deployment patterns and release schedules
Support junior QA members and contribute to team knowledge-sharing

3+ years in software automation testing with an understanding of the SDLC
Practical experience using AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Tabnine, or similar) in day-to-day engineering work

Java and Spring Boot
comfortable writing service-level tests end-to-end
Hands-on experience with JUnit 5, JGiven, Rest Assured, Testcontainers, or similar in real projects
Non-functional testing experience
performance, load, or stress
with any tool
Working knowledge of Kubernetes and ArgoCD
enough to understand deployment state and its effect on test reliability
Strong written and verbal English.
