Oversee, support, and develop a team of accountants
Ensure that the period close activities are executed seamlessly
Assisting/Liaising with Auditors to resolve queries/request
Review balance sheet account reconciliations, journal entries, and ad-hoc reports
Actively participate in continuous improvement projects
Plan and execute work allocation for the accounting team
Provide active support and contribute to transformation projects
Communicate, address and resolve escalated issues or inquiries

Strong understanding and application of accounting principles and practices
Excellent communication skills across all levels of the Accounting Team
Problem Solving, Critical and Analytical thinking, Thought Leadership & Influencing leadership
Strong understanding of financial statement components
Experience in managing accounting teams
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Working knowledge of SAP, Hyperion (HFM), Blackline and OneStream is an added advantage
