- Ensure work is prioritised, coordinated and concluded to high standards
- Translate audit work into clear, credible insights
- Engage with senior leaders and Trustee forums to provide insight on risk and governance
- Identify themes and cross-portfolio insights
- Oversee multiple audit engagements
- Build trusted relationships with senior audiences
- Contribute to the evolution of the Internal Audit function
Requirements
- Experienced Internal Audit professional
- Strong track record of owning delivery outcomes
- Capability to operate with senior leaders and decision‑makers
- Evidence-based judgement grounded in risk
- Pragmatic approach to assurance
- Reporting capability to distil complex audit findings
- Experience in leading or overseeing complex audit engagements
- Strong coaching mindset to support development of others
- Commitment to continuous improvement
