Remain current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Represent Brightwell at industry events and conferences.
Deliver agreed-upon new clients and contract renewals each year.
Exhibit patience with long sales cycles and continue to nurture the clients throughout this process.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
MBA is preferred but not required.
5+ years of business development experience in payments, preferably within a bank.
5+ years of cross border payments experience – either in remittances or funds transfer.
Experience working successfully using a sales methodology (Challenger, NEAT, Sandler, etc.) and the ability to speak to your results.
Demonstrated ability to sell structured deals and manage complex negotiations.
Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights.
Proven pipeline management and closing skills with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
Excellent analytical skills and strategic thinking – you’re strong on both IQ and EQ, as adept at reading data for insights as you are at reading clients for feedback.
Established comfort level in working with all levels of management, including C-suite.
Travel up to 30%.
