Design and maintain SharePoint Online information architecture, including folder taxonomy, metadata schemas, content types, managed metadata structures, and confidentiality segregation standards.
Define and validate governance standards for content organization and document management within SharePoint Online environments.
Administer SharePoint Online site collections and support structured governance implementation activities.
Analyze and leverage inventory data to support information architecture and governance decisions.
Design Power Automate workflows for governance reporting, operational visibility, and notification processes.
Validate folder-path-based and metadata-based integration patterns across connected systems and business workflows.
Support validation and QA activities for migrated libraries, metadata consistency, and governance compliance.
Conduct training sessions for business and marketing users on SharePoint governance structures and platform best practices.
Lead IT and content steward handoff sessions to ensure governance continuity and operational alignment.
Create and maintain Content Governance Guides, Information Architecture Design Documents, and related operational documentation.
Translate technical architecture decisions into business-friendly guidance for non-technical stakeholders.
Serve as the primary technical authority for SharePoint information architecture and governance decisions within the engagement.
Collaborate closely with client SMEs and technical stakeholders to ensure governance standards are implemented consistently.
Requirements
4–6 years of experience working with SharePoint Online within Microsoft 365 enterprise environments.
Hands-on experience administering SharePoint Online site collections and structured content environments.
Strong experience designing and managing SharePoint Online information architecture, including content types, managed metadata, term stores, indexed columns, metadata schemas, and folder taxonomy structures.
Experience designing governance structures for document management and content organization initiatives.
Experience designing Power Automate workflows for governance reporting, operational visibility, and notification processes.
Understanding of folder-path-based and metadata-based integration patterns.
