Perform the tracking, reporting and analysis of financial information, including financial reporting, budget and forecast creation, and variance analysis.
Assist with collecting and analyzing financial data in order to perform budget development, variance reporting for supported areas, preparing internal and external reports, and identifying data issues.
Analyze financial data to identify adverse trends and recommend solutions to mitigate financial impact.
Provide timely and accurate assistance to clients within supported business area, including the interpretation of account codes or financial reports, providing project status reports, and work order resolution.
Assist with financial analysis and support the budget managers for the annual budget process, as well as modeling, analysis and financial support for current year and five-year forecasting.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related business degree or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
Completion of finance or accounting internship preferred.
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office applications required.
Minimum 2 years experience in general financial accounting or analysis for Financial Analyst II.
CPA, CMA or MBA preferred for Financial Analyst II.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
Demonstrated skills in analysis, problem solving, customer service, and relationship building desired.
