About this role

Provide technical leadership in the design and development of customized sensor solutions
Serve as a subject matter expert in finite element analysis
Develop and review advanced mechanical designs
Partner with customers to translate requirements into product solutions
Lead technical trade studies and design reviews
Drive innovation in robotics and automation-related sensor applications
Collaborate with manufacturing teams on production processes
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required; Master’s or PhD strongly preferred
10+ years of experience in mechanical product development
Expertise in stress analysis and finite element modeling
Extensive experience with FEA tools (Creo Simulate preferred)
Proven track record in leading complex programs
Experience designing for robotics or automation preferred
Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
