About this role
Role Overview
contribute to supply chain excellence and customer success
developing and managing credible demand signals
work closely with internal stakeholders and customers to create accurate 18-24 month rolling forecasts
manage the monthly Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process
facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align commercial strategies with operational capabilities
analyze historical data, market trends, and customer insights to optimize inventory levels
build effective partnerships to enhance forecast accuracy and drive continuous improvement
support new product introductions and manage product lifecycle transitions
provide critical insights for strategic business decisions
implement process improvements and support team members
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience
at least 5 years in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain
APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) preferred
strong proficiency in statistical forecasting methodologies and SIOP/IBP processes
experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
experience with demand planning software (Demantra, Kinaxis, or similar tools)
proven track record of improving forecast accuracy and reducing bias
strong project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities
experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry preferred
knowledge of Power BI and Salesforce.com preferred
strong business acumen and understanding of manufacturing processes
demonstrated leadership abilities and mentoring skills
