About this role
Role Overview
- Own and manage CI/CD pipelines end-to-end (design, implementation, maintenance)
- Work directly with development teams to integrate build, test, and deployment processes
- Package and deploy applications using Helm on OpenShift / Kubernetes
- Build and maintain containerised applications using Docker
- Support and optimise Spring Cloud-based microservices deployments
- Troubleshoot build, deployment, and runtime issues
- Improve deployment speed, reliability, and rollback strategies
- Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting
- Drive best practices around CI/CD, versioning, and release management
- Maintain clear technical documentation
Requirements
- Strong experience building and owning CI/CD pipelines
- Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift / Kubernetes
- Strong experience with Helm (chart development, templating, lifecycle management)
- Solid experience with Docker and containerisation
- Good understanding of Spring Cloud ecosystem
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
- Experience debugging issues across pipelines, containers, and cluster environments
- Scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
