Role Overview
- Welcome customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Assist with product selection and ensure a smooth shopping experience
- React to customer concerns quickly
- Sell merchandise and provide outstanding service
- Take periodic stock counts and participate in inventories
- Replenish stock and maintain merchandise in a neat condition
- Advise supervisor of customer requests
- Operate cash register and maintain sales records
- Perform price changes and manage promotions
- Follow loss prevention policies and safety standards
- Work weekends and perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Potential to stock merchandise, assist patrons and operate a cash register
- Ability to read, comprehend and explain product literature
- Ability to count, subtract, multiply, and divide for stocking and inventory purposes
- Ability to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Previous retail merchandising or cashier experience (preferred)
