This position will serve as the lead to coordination and participation in Milwaukee community engaged outreach research activities to educate and inform the community about clinical trials.
This is an outreach position that involves working primarily in the community of Milwaukee conducting outreach, engagement with the goal of recruiting and enrollment.
The person will work collaboratively with Milwaukee and Madison staff coordinators to recruit and enroll participants in focus groups initially, and clinical trials later in the study.
This position includes a limited amount of data collection and maintaining databases of information related to potential and enrolled research participants.
Weekend and evening work hours may occur as part of the outreach activities.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience working in community engaged research.
Minimum 3 years of experience working with data collection, data analysis, and evaluation.
Minimum 3 years of Experience working with community focus groups and research recruitment and community advisory boards.
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
