Understand business and functional requirements to create effective test strategies and test cases.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for web-based applications.
Execute manual and automated test cases to validate application functionality and performance.
Identify, document, track, and report bugs using defect management tools.
Collaborate with development teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
Participate in sprint planning, requirement analysis, and daily stand-up meetings in Agile environments.
Assist in maintaining test documentation, test reports, and quality metrics.
Contribute to automation testing initiatives using Cypress wherever applicable.
Ensure software releases meet quality standards and user expectations.
Continuously learn and adopt modern QA tools, frameworks, and best practices.

1–2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
Knowledge of manual testing concepts including functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.
Basic understanding of API testing and database validation is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks effectively.
Hands-on exposure to Cypress automation testing.
Understanding of JavaScript basics for writing and maintaining automation scripts.
Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows is an added advantage.
