Ensures Occupational Health & Safety performance through the development, implementation, management and collaboration of health and safety programs across US and international sites.
Drives critical occupational health & safety programs such as Injury/Illness Reporting & Investigation, Hazard Communication, Respiratory Protection, Control of Hazardous Energy, Chemical Handling & Storage, Biological Safety, Fire Prevention, Ergonomics, etc. to reduce risks and company costs.
Exhibits a working knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety regulations.
Identifies, prioritizes, mitigates, and communicates health & safety compliance risks to the organization.
Assess and improve safety performance sites assessments and driving continuous improvement by establishing performance targets, data analysis and reporting.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or other field.
At least 3, preferably 5+ years of experience in health and safety program management.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety frameworks.
Strong analytical and project management skills.
Strong leadership and excellent communication skills.
Ability to travel as required (up to 10%, including overnight stays).
