Senior Accounting Specialist – General Accounting & Reporting

Role Overview

• Coordinate all monthly closing activities for the Group’s head entity
• Ensure the accuracy of the accounts and strict compliance with accounting standards (French GAAP / IFRS) as well as Group procedures
• Oversee the production of reporting and perform analytical reviews of variances (Balance Sheet and P&L) to explain financial performance
• Provide expertise on complex accounting schemes and accounting doctrine matters
• Act as a key liaison between Finance, Project, IT teams, subsidiaries, and Shared Service Centers (SSCs)
• Serve as the main point of contact for External Auditors to facilitate and secure pre-audit and certification phases
• Actively contribute to the modernization and continuous improvement of accounting processes (standardization, digitalization, etc.)
• Support testing, deployment, and user training phases, and drive change management across teams
• Strengthen accounting documentation and the internal control framework

Requirements

• Higher education degree in Accounting/Finance
• At least 5 years of experience, gained in an audit firm followed by a corporate environment
• Comfortable working in international and multi-stakeholder environments
• Ability to work in a project-based and cross-functional setting
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to synthesize information
• Fluent in English; knowledge of SAP is a plus
