Support and comply with all Air Liquide safety, health, and environmental procedures and policies.
Provide high-voltage electrical (HVE) support for planned maintenance, unplanned maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Exercise STOP WORK AUTHORITY anytime a safety or operational issue is identified.
Perform equipment condition walkdowns at assigned sites.
Direct and oversee vendor shop repairs on high-voltage equipment and motors to ensure adherence to Air Liquide standards.
Manage preventive maintenance (PM) of electrical equipment during turnarounds.
Maintain proper documentation of all work within the CMMS (Maximo).
Review vendor repair, test, and inspection reports, and communicate results to affected plants.
Develop detailed scopes for electrical projects and maintenance activities.
Manage project engineering either directly or through external contractors.
Mentor and train facility operations and technical staff regarding electrical system operations and maintenance.
Maintain 95% or greater compliance in the PM program and 100% compliance for Elements Important for Safety (EIS) PMs.
Achieve and maintain zero past-due electrical PMs.
Ensure effective planning of work orders utilizing Maximo.
Promote continuous improvement of PM details and job plans following established procedures.
Responsible for creation of procedures and post maintenance test plans as needed.
Execute PM and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) programs, ensuring all follow-up work is completed and documented.
Analyze and follow up on PdM data, including thermography, relay/breaker testing, transformer oil/gas tests, and motor PD/PI.
Lead and participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Vulnerability Studies (VS).
Develop and modify maintenance strategies based on RCA, VS, and Risk Analysis findings.
Plan, manage, and execute major electrical maintenance activities and turnarounds.
Deliver major maintenance activities on schedule and within budgetary constraints.
Contribute to the development of annual maintenance schedules, budgets, and turnaround plans.
Promote and adhere to the LI NAM Maintenance Management Process.
Utilize Maintenance Center and Corporate standards effectively.
Provide feedback to optimize spare parts stocking at the National Warehouse.
Collaborate with contractors to monitor work quality and cost-effectiveness.
Make proactive suggestions to improve plant safety, efficiency, and reliability.
Lead Maintenance Incident reviews for electrical systems and drive subsequent improvements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
At least 5 years of support experience in electrical plant maintenance.
Extensive experience with medium/high-voltage distribution systems and motors.
Proven ability to troubleshoot plant electrical maintenance issues, specifically with motors and switchgear equipment.
Willingness to travel across the United States and Canada to support troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
Flexibility to work extended hours or varying shifts based on business requirements.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
Proficient in the use of Google applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Physical capability for a full range of motion, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Ability to climb and ascend vertical ladders as required.
Valid employment authorization in the U.S. is required; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card.
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Passport.
