Review, recommend, report, and implement programs to ensure that the project meets contractual obligations and compliance issues.
Review files, and approve eligibility, suitability and vouchers.
Drive enrollments and participation from team
Analyze processes and procedures to optimize performance and productivity.
Maintain knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations and policies related to welfare and workforce programs.
Coordinate training activities to ensure that all operations staff are properly trained to implement project activities effectively.
Define and set operational goals and directing/delegating staff responsibilities to meet and/or exceed these goals.
Facilitate meetings with partners to promote full and frequent communication
Review staff performance and recommend corrective action as needed
Attend committee meetings
Understand all technical aspects of the operation
Participate in development and maintenance of standard operating procedures
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in management, organizational development, project management, business administration, or similar field is required
Knowledge of workforce development programs (Workforce Investment Act/Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) is preferred
Self-motivated and flexible team player with the ability to work with culturally diverse populations.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, human resource management, and communication skills.
Experience organizing, planning, and developing program operations at a supervisory level.
