Lead technical support for pre-sales activities related to battery energy storage projects
Ensure smooth transition of technical information to project execution team
Develop system configurations, preliminary designs, and technical proposals
Perform system sizing, energy modeling, and performance analysis
Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and Service teams
Support customer meetings, technical presentations, and proposal reviews
Review and interpret single-line diagrams, site layouts, equipment specifications
Assist with technical due diligence and mitigation strategies
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues
Contribute to the development of standard engineering tools and best practices
Stay current on industry standards and emerging technologies related to battery storage.

Bachelors degree in electrical engineering preferred
Strong understanding of utility-scale BESS architecture, including batteries, inverters, transformers, switchgear, controls, and protection systems.
5+ years of experience in application engineering, systems engineering, power systems, renewable energy, or battery storage
Experience with grid interconnection studies, SCADA, EMS, PPC, or utility coordination.
Familiarity with UL, IEEE, NEC, NFPA 855, and other applicable standards and codes.
Knowledge of energy markets, ancillary services, and utility-scale project economics.
