About this role
Role Overview
Independently manage end-to-end processes with a focus on operational procurement, material requirements planning (MRP), inventory management and warehousing, as well as distribution and transportation for international solar tracker installations
Ensure timely and cost-efficient material supply to worldwide project sites, taking into account project-specific requirements and construction sequences
Coordinate, monitor and manage suppliers and logistics service providers across the global project-related supply chain
Actively manage deviations, risks and delays in international project supply chains and implement appropriate countermeasures to ensure project success
Analyze processes and supply chain KPIs (e.g., delivery performance, inventory levels, lead times) and derive and implement improvement measures
Take responsibility for subprojects and contribute to cross-functional initiatives in close coordination with project management, engineering, procurement and quality
Contribute to the further development of processes, methods and standards for our global project supply chains
Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant legal, customs and trade regulations in international project operations
Requirements
Completed commercial or technical vocational training (e.g., Industrial Clerk, Freight Forwarding Clerk, Wholesale and Foreign Trade Clerk)
Some to several years of experience in operational purchasing, preferably in an international industrial or project environment
Experience managing and communicating with suppliers and in procurement processes
Basic understanding of supply chain relationships, particularly in international supply chains
Good knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and a solid understanding of related logistics and distribution processes
Initial practical experience in organizing or coordinating transports, and basic knowledge of customs clearance and Incoterms are advantageous
Confident user of ERP systems and very good Excel skills; experience with TMS or reporting tools is an advantage
Structured, responsible and proactive working style, with strong communication and teamwork skills
High integrity in handling compliance and export control requirements
Very good German and English language skills.
