Requirements
A practising Christian, passionate about personally representing the values and beliefs of Spear
Passionate about supporting young people facing serious barriers to achieve sustainable employment
Extensive coaching experience and a deep understanding of the Spear programme, as well as the way it is run in partnership with churches, are essential
Strong leadership skills with experience of developing people at management level, using coaching techniques
An excellent communicator with strong relational skills and the ability to develop a rapport with and positively influence a variety of people from diverse backgrounds and professional levels
Experience of designing training to a variety of audiences and collaborating with colleagues and senior leaders throughout the organisation to ensure L&D priorities are aligned with the organisation’s objectives
Strong numerical, reporting and organisational skills, including the ability to establish appropriate and effective processes and structures
Demonstration of leadership capabilities; proactive, responsive and a self-starter
Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet targets and deadlines
IT literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to operate flexibly in a changing and dynamic environment
