Installation, configuration, maintenance, implementation and updating of database systems, as well as databases for applications
Specifically locating and resolving faults and issues, and implementing optimization measures
Supporting application developers with database modeling questions, formulating SQL statements, transaction management and database error handling
Managing or assisting with root-cause analysis and resolution of errors in production systems (database systems, data issues, job failures, program errors)

You have a successfully completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Database Management, or a related field
Alternatively, a comparable qualification or training
At least 3 years of professional experience in database administration or software development with relational databases
Strong SQL skills and expertise with the MS SQL Server database management system
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex database problems
Additionally, you have an understanding of security aspects related to databases
