Collaborate across business and technology functions to monitor dependencies and provide centralized visibility across initiatives.
Provide quality control over project management deliverables such as the charter, scope, risk and issue logs, project change management, organizational change management and project management plans.
Guide and support project managers through project oversight processes and procedures including successful delivery of project tasks, deliverables and artifacts.
Track and monitor resources assigned to projects in the Information Systems portfolio.
Ensure projects follow established processes and procedures.
Report on project performance and facilitate leadership engagement.
Mentor and support staff, identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
Assist with prioritization of agency division IT project portfolio(s).
Identify and manage risks and issues that impact the portfolio and coordinate resolutions.
Requirements
Six (6) years of information systems experience in: IS Project Portfolio Management.
An associate's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field; AND four (4) years of information systems experience in: IS Project Portfolio Management.
A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field AND two (2) years of information systems experience in: IS Project Portfolio Management.
Master's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field may substitute for all of the above.
