Senior Consultant – Audit Manager, Financial Audit

Role Overview

• Lead annual and consolidated financial statement audits in accordance with HGB and IFRS
• Responsible for the team’s deliverables and the quality of work
• Preparation of working papers
• Support special business audits and advisory engagements
• Identify areas for optimization and provide solution-oriented advice to clients
• Advise on accounting-related, tax, and business management matters

Requirements

• Degree in business administration, economics, or a related field
• 2 to 3 years of experience in external audit
• Strong knowledge of national (HGB) and international (IFRS) accounting standards
• Intention to pursue professional qualification as a tax advisor (Steuerberater) or certified public auditor (Wirtschaftsprüfer)
• Solid MS Office skills
• Good command of English
• Ability to work independently and take ownership
• Team player with a service-oriented approach
• Confident demeanor
