About this role
Role Overview
- Develop software for underwater robotic systems
- Work with a multidisciplinary team of engineers
- Elicit system requirements and develop software specifications
- Design software architecture that is resilient, safe, and secured
- Write robust code and implement software requirements
- Build test environment and simulators for verification
- Carry out integration tests with hardware platforms
- Short term travel overseas for trials may be required
Requirements
- Knowledge in Computer / Electrical / Electronic Engineering or Computer Science or related
- Preferably 2 – 3 working experiences
- Experience in C / C++ / C# / Java / Python programming and Object-Oriented Analysis & Design would be advantageous
- Passion to write code and participate in sea trials to see the code in action
- Interest in areas like Machine Learning, Data Analytics, IoT, Real-Time Embedded Systems
- Open minded and comfortable in interacting with engineers from other disciplines
