Lead the day-to-day management of Accounts Receivable across CMA CGM Group carriers within Oceania.
Oversee freight, sundries, detention and demurrage transactions while ensuring effective credit control and timely collections across both cash and credit accounts.
Assess customer creditworthiness, manage credit limits and terms, and conduct regular credit reviews.
Monitor aged receivables and collection performance.
Prepare and analyse credit control and Accounts Receivable reports.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement of credit control processes.
Lead, coach, and support the credit control team to achieve performance targets.
Requirements
5–7 years’ experience in credit management, account management, customer service, or customer relationship management within a fast-paced environment.
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills are essential.
Proven experience leading and developing teams.
Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
High attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A background or qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or Business, and/or previous experience within the shipping industry, would be advantageous but are NOT essential.
