You will work closely with various stakeholders in ensuring the completion and accuracy of all financial reporting while complying with the local tax/audit regulatory reporting.
Maintain financial control by adhering to internal controls, accounting standards, and tax requirements.
Manage day-to-day accounting transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries in compliance with Accounting Standards.
Process invoices, expense claims, and payment requests while ensuring proper authorization and documentation.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, journals, and ledgers on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Perform monthly closing including preparation of the financial reporting package.
Prepare intercompany transaction detailed schedules and balance confirmations to other business units.
Reconcile discrepancies arising between the system and finance records; proactively seek solutions to identify and minimize differences.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, ACCA, CA/CA Inter, or equivalent.
Solid knowledge of local tax/audit regulations and IFRS, with hands-on experience in a finance operating environment.
5+ years of accounting or finance experience.
Strong Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel skills.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with different departments and collect necessary information in a timely manner.
Positive, result-driven, with good analytical thinking and a team-player mindset.
Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet tight deadlines.
Strong initiative and willingness to take on projects proactively.
Ability to work independently and flexibly.
