Role Overview
Drive growth of Cisco’s Collaboration Devices portfolio across Public Sector accounts by partnering with account teams, engineering resources, and customer stakeholders to develop and close strategic opportunities
Lead customer engagements focused on workplace modernization, hybrid collaboration, and secure meeting experiences across Federal, State & Local Government, and Education environments
Position Cisco’s collaboration devices solutions against key competitors by leveraging deep industry knowledge, technical credibility, and business-value selling strategies
Collaborate across Cisco architectures and limited pooled SE resources to independently support technical discussions, demonstrations, and customer solution development
Influence long-term customer collaboration strategies by building trusted advisor relationships and aligning Cisco’s innovation roadmap to evolving Public Sector collaboration needs
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
8+ years of technology sales, collaboration sales, or specialist overlay experience
5+ years of experience selling collaboration devices, video conferencing, unified communications, or workplace technology solutions
Experience supporting or selling into Public Sector customers including Federal, State & Local Government, or Education organizations
Experience managing large, strategic sales opportunities with quota accountability, forecasting responsibilities, and executive customer engagement
Experience with Cisco Collaboration portfolio including Webex Devices, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Calling, and Unified Communications solutions
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to independently lead customer-facing technical conversations and demonstrations
Experience working within overlay or specialist sales models in highly matrixed organizations
Knowledge of collaboration competitors including Poly, Logitech, Neat, and Zoom environments
Ability to build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, cross-functional sales teams, and partner organizations
