About this role
Role Overview
- Lead and shape critical finance operations for a growing Services division
- Drive cash performance, accuracy and continuous improvement within a centralised Group Finance function
- Play a key role within the Group Finance Team, leading core finance operations that support the Services division
- Ensure effective cash collection, accurate invoicing and a high standard of service to Members and internal stakeholders
- Oversee billing, collections, cash allocation and ledger control
- Reduce aged debt through effective credit control processes
- Ensure Direct Debit processes are managed accurately and in line with timelines
- Build strong working relationships across Finance, Services and the wider Group
- Monitor KPIs (collections, billing accuracy, productivity)
- Develop reporting and MI to support decision-making
Requirements
- Finance leadership experience in a shared services environment
- Strong academic background including Maths
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA (part or fully qualified) – desirable
- Strong background in Billing, Sales Ledger and Credit Control
- Experience in high-volume, deadline-driven environments
- Track record of process improvement and change delivery
- Familiarity with systems such as Dynamics, Sage Intacct or similar
- Direct Debit experience, including compliance and collections
- Clear communication and stakeholder management
- Good understanding of accounting principles
- Strong Excel and IT skills
- BACS experience
- Experience working in multi-entity or acquisitive business environments

- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
