Role Overview
- Act as a technical authority in the development of engineering solutions focused on industrial automation.
- Lead mid
- to large-scale projects, ensuring high-quality technical delivery aligned with safety, cybersecurity, and compliance standards.
- Serve as a technical reference, ensuring project execution is aligned with contracts, quality standards, safety protocols, and cybersecurity policies.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and propose tailored technical solutions, incorporating continuous feedback.
- Develop work plans, cost estimates, and ensure on-time, on-budget project implementation.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure that systems are correctly manufactured, tested, installed, and commissioned.
- Support and mentor engineers in technical development, promoting best practices and sharing lessons learned.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), exclusively in the pulp and paper industry.
- Degree in Software Engineering, Automation, Artificial Intelligence, or Machine Learning.
- Solid experience in industrial software development and implementation.
- Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus).
- Strong ability to engage with clients and translate business needs into digital and technical solutions.
