Define reference architecture and integration strategy for a unified data center management platform
Design robust connections between BMS, DCIM, CMMS, and adjacent systems (SCADA, IoT, analytics)
Establish standards for scalability, reliability, security, and 24/7 mission-critical performance
Lead architecture reviews, mentor engineers, and drive cross-functional alignment
Evaluate vendors and emerging tech; run proofs-of-concept; balance build vs. buy
Translate operational pain points (energy efficiency, predictive maintenance, incident response) into scalable solutions

8–10+ years systems/software architecture experience, including 5+ years in data center operations, critical infrastructure, or industrial OT environments
Demonstrated leadership: led architecture for complex multi-system integrations; mentored senior engineers; influenced technical direction across teams
Hands-on experience developing or integrating BMS, DCIM, and/or CMMS platforms (or very close analogs) in production
Strong distributed systems & integration skills (APIs, event-driven architectures, high-availability design, time-series data)
Deep knowledge of data center fundamentals: power, cooling, capacity planning, environmental monitoring, and operational workflows
Excellent communicator who bridges technical and operational stakeholders
