Role Overview
Own and evolve Dematic’s inorganic growth strategy, aligning with enterprise priorities, technology roadmap, and market expansion goals.
Define and operationalize what inorganic growth means, including collaborations, strategic alliances, investments, and acquisitions.
Identify strategic gaps and expansion opportunities across geographies, technologies, and verticals.
Translate market, customer, and technology trends into actionable inorganic opportunities.
Lead evaluation of partnerships and M&A opportunities, including strategic fit and business model design.
Structure and negotiate strategic partnerships, defining value creation, governance, and operating models.
Support M&A efforts through strategic positioning, business case development, and executive storytelling.
Engage cross-functional leaders to surface opportunities and align on growth priorities.
Influence and build consensus across Strategy, Technology, Finance, Legal, and Executive Leadership.
Clearly articulate the commercial impact and value of inorganic initiatives to drive approvals.
Drive execution from deal structuring through early integration, ensuring value realization.
Build scalable frameworks, processes, and capabilities to strengthen long-term inorganic growth execution.
Requirements
7+ years of experience across technical evaluation, corporate strategy, partnerships, management consulting, or related fields.
Proven track record leading partnership evaluations, deal structuring, and negotiations.
Technical reasoning background with the ability to translate technical value into business outcomes.
Executive-level communication and influence skills, particularly in matrixed global organizations.
Ability to manage ambiguity, challenge assumptions, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.
Comfort operating at both strategic (portfolio-level) and practical (deal-level) depths.
Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or other relevant majors) or relevant experience with proven work history required.
Must have an up-to-date passport and be willing to travel up to 35% throughout the year.
Will be responsible for direct reports and their professional development.
