Senior Accountants will have at least 3-5 years of experience in public or private accounting, preferably with real estate industry experience.
Some accounting work will be supervised. Senior Accountants will begin to deal directly with client personnel with guidance.
Senior Accountants will prepare financial statements as well as perform tax services and consulting for clients.
No supervisory skills are required.
Operate effectively within client accounting systems, including Yardi (required) and Sage Intacct (preferred), to support day-to-day accounting and reporting needs.
Prepare/write up full monthly work for more complex clients
Communicate with team members for missing items for monthly work
Calculate, review, and analyze financial ratios
Maintain client relationship and discuss open items
Requirements
Experience with financial statements and tax returns is required
Prior experience in public accounting is strongly preferred
Prior experience working with real estate clients is highly preferred
Bachelors degree is strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work well in a team environment

Ability to handle more than one project / task at a time
Ability to learn different software and understand how they work and improve the firm
