Responsible for optimizing and testing algorithms for fine pointing and the onboard processing of scientific data for the ESA Arrakihs mission, including simulator development and evaluation of persistence effects.
Create test specifications in accordance with ECSS standards.
Develop Full Functional Tests (FFT).
Perform testing on the Extended Functional Model (EFM).
Adapt the existing ARK simulator to meet the requirements of various test campaigns (FFT, EFM).
Simulate and analyze persistence effects in the detectors.
Requirements
Completed a relevant Master’s degree or Diplom.
Experience in flight software for space missions, in particular ECSS standards and the SCOS-2000 standard.
Strong knowledge of the Python and C programming languages.
Proficient in both written and spoken English and German.
Able to work independently, in a structured way, and with a solution-oriented mindset.
Team player with strong communication skills.
