Operate, maintain, and enhance VoIP and Radius systems within high-performance data centers
Develop and improve automated system management using Puppet and Debian-based server clusters
Drive projects within the VoIP and Radius environment across their full lifecycle — from design and implementation to deployment
Perform performance analysis and optimization to ensure system efficiency and reliability
Plan and execute rollouts of new features and system updates
Carry out regular maintenance activities (system expansions, updates, upgrades)
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in a structured and goal-oriented manner
Coordinate with upstream providers by creating and managing trouble tickets
Participate in an on-call rotation (additional compensation provided)

A degree in Computer Science, Natural Sciences, or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in IT operations (FOSS systems or Site Reliability Engineering)
Strong expertise in Linux administration, especially with clustered environments
Practical experience with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management)
Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, UDP)
Scripting skills (Bash, Python, Perl) for automation
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Experience with virtualization (e.g. KVM, Proxmox, oVirt, OpenStack) – nice to have
Knowledge of VoIP technologies and telephony systems (e.g. Asterisk, Kamailio) – a plus
Experience with FreeRADIUS – a plus
Knowledge of MySQL / MariaDB administration
A proactive, service-oriented mindset and ability to quickly understand complex systems
Good English skills (written and spoken); basic German is an advantage
