Identify synergies, overlaps, and gaps across portfolios, developing robust business cases and recommendations for acceleration, rationalisation or reinvestment.
Translate enterprise strategy into portfolio roadmaps, resource requirements, revenue assumptions, budget recommendations and prioritised investment plans.
Oversee aggregate portfolio performance, including P&L outcomes, pricing discipline, margin improvement, launch performance and risk management.
Coach and support Portfolio Managers, strengthening strategic thinking, accountability, lifecycle management and execution standards.
Act as a key cross-functional partner for regional teams, Sales, R&D, Operations, Quality, Finance and Scientific Affairs to align innovation pipelines with market needs and business value.
Requirements
Significant experience in portfolio management, product management, commercial strategy or a related senior business role, ideally within food safety, life sciences, diagnostics, manufacturing or a technical B2B environment.
Strong commercial acumen, including experience with P&L ownership, revenue forecasting, pricing strategy, margin improvement and portfolio performance metrics.
Demonstrated ability to lead portfolio planning, governance processes, business case development and lifecycle management across multiple product lines.
Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams in a global or matrixed organisation.
Strong analytical, strategic and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex market, financial and operational information into clear recommendations.
Experience coaching or leading product or portfolio management professionals, with a focus on performance, consistency and continuous improvement.
