Role Overview
- Lead the execution of the Corporate Compliance Program for the North America region
- Serve as a trusted compliance advisor and strategic partner to business leaders
- Advise on key compliance areas including interactions with healthcare professionals, engagement models, and market access strategies
- Manage periodic compliance risk assessments to identify, prioritize, and mitigate key risks
- Partner with stakeholders to design and implement practical, scalable controls and mitigation strategies
- Manage processes related to HCP consulting arrangements, speaker programs, grants, and sponsorships
- Lead end-to-end execution of U.S. transparency reporting (Open Payments)
- Develop and deliver targeted compliance training tailored to business needs and risk areas
- Manage internal compliance investigations for the region and ensure appropriate documentation, remediation, and escalation consistent with company policy.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience in healthcare compliance, legal, or related function within the medical device or pharmaceutical industries
- Healthcare compliance certification (CHC, CCEP) strongly preferred
- Deep working knowledge of AKS, FCA, FCPA, Stark Law, PPSA/CMS Open Payments, AdvaMed Code, MedTech Canada, and OIG/DOJ guidance
- Experience acting as a trusted advisor to sales, marketing, commercial operations, medical affairs, and other cross-functional leaders
- Excellent decision-making skills, practical business judgement, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
