Provides direct, hands-on support for the daily administration and execution of the Special Access Program (SAP) security program
Executes critical security functions across all disciplines to ensure compliance and protect sensitive program information
Processes Program Access Requests (PARs), facilitates indoctrinations and debriefings, and maintains personnel security files (PSFs)
Manages visit certifications and foreign travel reporting for SAP-accessed personnel
Assists with the day-to-day management of SAP materials, conducts inventories, manages document control and accountability logs, and prepares materials for secure transport and destruction
Supports the physical integrity of the SAPF by managing access control systems, conducting daily security checks, monitoring alarm systems, and escorting non-accessed personnel
Assists the lead in preparing for security inspections by auditing files, updating documentation, and verifying compliance
Maintains security databases, visitor logs, and training records
Assists in providing security briefings, refresher training, and general security support to program personnel
Performs other duties as assigned by the Senior SAP Security Specialist
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in DoD security
1-2 years of direct experience in a Special Access Program environment
Strong working knowledge of SAP security policies and procedures
Proficiency with DISS and other security management software
High school diploma or equivalent required
Completion of foundational CDSE/STEPP security training is required; SAP-related training is highly desirable
