Build and sustain strong, consultative relationships with senior decision-makers and key influencers across assigned accounts
Act as a strategic advisor by deeply understanding each client’s business, industry dynamics, and long-term objectives
Lead renewal and growth strategies by presenting data-driven insights, negotiating rate actions, and identifying opportunities to expand solutions and services
Drive portfolio performance by delivering growth, retention, and earnings outcomes across a book of large employer clients
Apply financial and underwriting knowledge to help clients manage costs while maximizing the value of offered solutions
Collaborate closely with underwriting, client management, and internal partners to deliver aligned, seamless client solutions
Proactively address client needs by overseeing service delivery, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience
Leverage market and industry trends to help clients stay competitive and informed, positioning solutions that meet evolving needs
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in client management, account management, or sales within health benefits, insurance, or a related industry
Proven experience managing large, complex employer accounts, including renewal strategy and growth discussions
Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret data, understand underwriting concepts, and communicate value effectively
Demonstrated ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and navigate complex organizational environments
Preferred Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Experience working with employers of 500+ employees
Background in sales, underwriting, operations, or client consulting within healthcare or benefits
