Senior Analyst, Financial

Role Overview

• Run the preparation and analysis of sophisticated participation profit-share and distribution financial statements.
• Lead fiscal month-end close tasks, including complex true-ups, reconciliations, and expense accruals.
• Act as the team’s primary “Variance Detective” and quality gatekeeper.
• Translate complex artist and label legal agreements into functional financial models.
• Compile and analyze vast sets of transactional data to support statement reporting, budgets, and cash forecasts.
• Take an active role in team development by guiding analysts and facilitating training sessions.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree required (Accounting or Finance preferred)
• 3-5 years of professional experience in a complex financial capacity
• Advanced proficiency with MS Excel
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience in Music, Media, or Entertainment
