Maintain and manage client books in QuickBooks Online
Review QuickBooks files for accurate coding, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and transaction completeness
Perform accounting clean-ups and catch-up work for clients with incomplete records
Classify transactions and complete monthly reconciliations for bank, credit card, and liability accounts
Tie out payroll liabilities and payroll-related expenses
Prepare monthly financial statement packages including Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss reports
Deliver financial reports to clients and explain key results
Conduct regular client check-in meetings to review financial performance and answer questions
Complete year-end workpapers and prepare adjusting journal entries
Review work prepared by accountants and bookkeepers to ensure accuracy and consistency
Provide feedback and guidance to team members
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients regarding documentation and financial matters
Maintain timely responses to client communications
Manage tasks, deadlines, and workflows using firm systems and tools

5+ years of accounting and bookkeeping experience
Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online
Strong understanding of account reconciliations and financial reporting
Experience reviewing accounting work and maintaining quality standards
Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Teams
Experience with payroll accounting
Personal injury law firm experience is a plus
Experience with legal practice management software such as Filevine, Clio, or similar platforms
