About this role
Role Overview
Lead the infrastructure operation (IMS), ensuring the availability, performance, continuity and reliability of IT services, with a focus on meeting SLAs, reducing incidents and maintaining operational stability.
Manage cloud and on-premises environments (servers, storage, networks, backups and middleware), ensuring continuous monitoring, capacity management, patching and infrastructure evolution according to business needs.
Coordinate vendors and managed service partners (e.g., cloud providers, infrastructure outsourcing), ensuring alignment of scope, performance, KPIs, governance and value delivery.
Establish and lead the FinOps practice, promoting cost visibility, cloud financial governance, consumption optimization, capacity planning and cost‑efficient decision making.
Ensure mature operational processes based on best practices (ITIL/COBIT), including incident, problem, change, capacity, availability and continuity management for IT services.
Define and execute Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity strategies, including periodic testing and validation of recovery plans for critical environments.
Promote automation, operational efficiency and continuous improvement of the infrastructure, reducing manual tasks, operational costs and technical risks.
Produce operational and financial metrics (availability, capacity, cost per service, usage efficiency) to support managerial decisions and executive reporting.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems or related fields.
Solid experience in IT infrastructure management, operations (IMS) and managed services in medium/large corporate environments.
Hands‑on experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS or similar) and traditional infrastructure (servers, networks, storage, backup, virtualization).
Experience managing infrastructure vendors and service contracts (e.g., AMS/IMS, managed services, cloud providers).
Knowledge of FinOps practices, including cloud cost management, consumption optimization, TCO analysis and IT financial governance.
Experience with operational and governance frameworks (ITIL, COBIT), including incident management, problem management, change management and capacity management.
Experience with capacity management, environment monitoring, performance analysis and resource optimization.
Experience managing critical incidents and ensuring operational continuity, including crisis response.
Advanced English for supplier interaction, technical reading and management of international contracts.
Prior experience as a coordinator or leader of infrastructure or operations teams.
Certifications related to cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP), ITIL or FinOps.
Experience in multi‑cloud environments or hybrid strategies.
Knowledge of infrastructure automation (IaC), observability and AIOps.
Experience managing data centers, corporate networks and globally distributed environments.
Experience managing costs in complex IT outsourcing contracts.
Knowledge of infrastructure security (hardening, access controls, vulnerability management).
Experience with operational transformation, cost reduction and efficiency improvement in IT.
