About this role
Role Overview
Act as a strategic interface between IT and business areas, responsible for systems related to the hospital revenue cycle, ensuring support, improvements, configuration, and the evolution of end-to-end billing processes from account intake through denial management and reconciliation.
Participate in projects and provide maintenance/support for systems related to the hospital billing end-to-end flow;
Gather requirements and map processes together with business areas;
Conduct functional analyses, system configurations and systemic improvements;
Serve as a liaison between operational areas, billing and technology;
Support digital transformation projects related to the revenue cycle;
Ensure system alignment with institutional processes and business rules;
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation;
Support user acceptance, integrated testing and deployment of enhancements;
Deliver training and support key system users;
Produce analyses and data extracts to support the business areas.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree;
Degree in Information Technology, Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Healthcare or related fields;
Postgraduate degree and/or MBA preferred;
Experience with hospital billing processes;
Knowledge of the end-to-end revenue cycle:
account intake;
auditing;
billing;
denial management;
reconciliation;
closing;
Experience configuring systems;
Knowledge of hospital business processes;
Experience with hospital systems and ERP;
Basic knowledge of databases and query writing;
Experience with Tasy;
Knowledge of the following systems:
Overmind;
Avatar;
ZG;
Experience in implementation projects and digital transformation;
Knowledge of BPM, SQL and agile methodologies.
