Plan and develop conventional engineering and scientific solutions for technical problems or project objectives using SRMC engineering methodologies and requirements.
Assume technical responsibility for one or more phases of a program and/or ownership for unit operations within processing facilities.
Collaborate with colleagues to provide innovative improvements to existing processes.
Provide project engineering and facility engineering support.
Develop Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, Control Logic Diagrams, Instrument Loop Drawings, Segment Drawings, Instrument Location and Installation Drawings, and technical calculations.
Select and size instruments and control valves.
Develop procurement requirements, specifications and data sheets.
Perform vendor drawing reviews, design reviews, and commercial grade dedication.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Nuclear Engineering, or closely related engineering discipline from an accredited college or university with professional engineering experience
Knowledge of advanced engineering principles and practices to develop appropriate outputs.
Working knowledge of National Codes and Standards.
Experience with DCS and PLC interfaces.
Proficiency with 2D MicroStation v8 CADD.
Ability to perform walkdowns.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a changing environment with multiple demands and priorities.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Ability to express ideas concisely and clearly, both verbally and in writing.
