Conduct on-site surveys to perform risk assessments, evaluate exposures to loss, deliver service, and conduct training for insureds
Provide new business prospect reports and marketing support for potential new business
Plan, develop and recommend risk control services for insureds
Develop and implement plans, programs and controls necessary to assure retention and growth
Maintain open communications with insureds, insurance professionals, school/college attorneys, teammates and others
Assist other internal departments, agents/brokers and insureds in resolving technical questions regarding exposure assessment and risk mitigation
Requirements
AA/BA/BS degree
Occupational/industrial safety, engineering, fire science or safety related degree preferred
Attainment of Associate in Risk Management, (ARM); Associate in Risk Management for Public Entities, (ARM-P): Associate Safety Professional [ASP]; Graduate Safety Professional [GSP] or Certified Safety Professional, (CSP) desired
Qualified candidates will have at least 8 years of public sector safety or commercial risk control, safety, or fire protection experience
Strong organizational, time and technical skills are required
Strong relationship, marketing and consulting skills required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
