Lead design efforts for electrical systems
Utilize engineering software and tools to create detailed designs
Interact with clients to understand needs and gather project requirements
Support project execution as part of a team; lead project planning, budgeting, and scheduling
Document design decisions and client instructions
Analyze engineering problems and propose innovative solutions
Provide in-process design reviews
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in electrical engineering
Prioritize safety in all engineering work

Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent required
Professional Engineer (PE) License required
2 years of experience minimum required, 4 preferred, in the building design consulting industry
Proficiency in design techniques, tools, and concepts involved in the production of technical plans and specifications
Strong technical and analytical skills including knowledge of principles relating to circuit theory, electromagnetism, power systems, and electronics as they relate to electrical systems design for buildings
Proficient with industry standard engineering software and tools
Proficient with Adobe or Bluebeam Revu
Knowledge of Illumination Engineering Society (IES) Standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel up to 10% with occasional overnight stays
