Validation Configuration Engineer

Role Overview

• Responsible for the quality and compliance of configurations before their deployment to production.
• Perform static and dynamic tests of configured releases.
• Verify the conformity of deliverables prior to delivery.
• Design and execute test plans.
• Produce qualification dossiers.
• Identify, analyze and track anomalies.
• Coordinate fixes with configuration teams.
• Ensure traceability of requirements and tests.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in engineering (or equivalent)
• ≥ 2 years in validation/testing of systems, ideally in railway or other safety-critical domains
• Knowledge of railway signaling and associated systems
• Proficiency in test, validation and anomaly management methodologies
• Strong analytical skills, diagnostic ability and scenario simulation
• Proficient with tools such as: MISTRAL NG, VF PNG, MANGO VF, GCE DOORS, Polarion, Jama (requirements management)
• HP ALM / QC, Jira (testing & defect management)
• Rigour, organization and analytical mindset
• Good interpersonal skills, team working and technical writing
