Hardware Engineer

Role Overview

• Identify, develop, evaluate, introduce, and manage engineering solutions for product control and control system technology needs
• Apply control theory and mathematical modeling to design and control systems with desired behaviors
• Resolve issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures
• Work with vendors to ensure designs can be manufactured to required quality standards
• Effectively manage multiple priorities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering from an accredited university or college
• 2 years PCB design and manufacturing experience
• Experience in nuclear analog and digital instrumentation, control, monitoring, and electric power system and field engineering
• Competency in industry standards: IEEE, IEC, IPC, and quality
• Competency in modeling and test data collection tools
• Knowledge and experience with PCB design, signal analysis and system verification tools (Altium, PSpice, System Verilog, UVM, etc.)
