About this role

Develop and evolve backend APIs and services;
Maintain integrations for authentication, databases, messaging, and external systems;
Fix bugs in legacy and modern systems;
Support build and deployment activities and failure analysis in staging (homologation) and production;
Write code with a focus on quality, maintainability, and stability;
Participate in code reviews and support the team's technical standardization.

Completed higher education (technologist, bachelor's degree and/or postgraduate — lato sensu or stricto sensu) in Information Technology.
Strong experience with Java and object-oriented programming;
Experience with Java versions from 8 through 21;
Experience with Spring Boot for developing REST APIs;
Knowledge of Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, Validation, and Actuator;
Experience with relational databases, especially Oracle;
Knowledge of JPA/Hibernate;
Experience with SOAP and REST integrations;
Experience with messaging systems using RabbitMQ or equivalent solutions;
Knowledge of Gradle and Maven;
Use of Git in a collaborative workflow;
Experience with automated testing and code quality;
Strong ability to read, understand, and maintain legacy systems.
