Actively participate in program activities, from initial proposal through planning, verification, certification and delivery
Act as an independent set of eyes and ears for Program Managers and the customer, highlighting potential best practices on the team, as well as areas for improvement
Coordinates support across SQEs supporting a program to ensure SQE commitments are met
Verifies software lifecycle activities and products comply with approved software processes, plans, and standards
Identifies process or product non-compliances; supports root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions and other defect investigation/prevention activities
Teams with equipment managers of supplier products to evaluate supplier software development performance
Identify and analyze program/project software quality metrics to improve software quality and manage risks
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
2+ years of experience in the Software Development lifecycle (including Requirements Analysis, Design, Code, Integration & Test)
2+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
2+ years of software quality engineering experience supporting software with AS9115, DO-178, and/or MIL-STD-882E requirements (preferred)
2+ years of experience with Software Development Processes (preferred)
Experience with DevSecOps and associated tools (preferred)
Experience with Project Management of products developed using Agile software development practices and tools (JIRA) (preferred)
