Work under the close supervision of an Attorney and/or Case Manager.
Independently analyze information and documents.
Prepare, review, and compile immigration petitions and applications for Attorney review and filing.
Manage volume while prioritizing, handling more complex cases, and identifying potential issues.
Handle client/foreign national communications regarding case processing and status for key accounts/clients.
Provide excellent client service.
Facilitate and manage the immigration process for individual clients and corporate accounts, while seeking efficiency and process improvements.
Requirements
Completed Bachelor’s Degree – highly desirable
At least 3 years of experience working as an Immigration Paralegal drafting employment-based petitions.
Intermediate level proficiency with MS Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word).
Experience with drafting petitions for a range of NIV cases preferred: H1B, L, TN, O-1 etc. and/or experience with drafting green card processes (I-140 and AOS), and end-to-end PERM applications.
Experience working with a high volume of active and inactive cases at any one time.
Experience communicating directly with (HR staff) and/or foreign nationals regarding case requirements, including work on key accounts/clients.
You have genuine interest in US immigration, with a desire to treat clients & foreign nationals with respect and an empathetic approach.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including spelling and grammar.
Sharp eye for attention to detail to ensure consistent accuracy of work.
Ability to follow due process, templates, and to adapt to evolving innovation within the Firm, and industry.
Ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritize caseload.
Strong computer literacy with the ability to adapt to state-of-the-art Envoy case processing software to monitor and record all visa petitions.
