Role Overview
- Responsible for promoting, maintaining and implementing systems of accountability for health, safety and environmental excellence
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations and GPI guidelines
- Oversee the prevention and/or correction of unsafe working and environmental conditions
- Drive initiatives to improve safety awareness and efficiency
- Develop and implement industry best practice systems for HSE programs while maintaining compliance
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE in industrial manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's Degree (Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental, Occupational Safety, or similar discipline)
- Prior supervisory experience
- Advanced safety or environmental certification, preferred
- Software proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
